Genital Aesthetic Procedures Performed with Laser
The first laser applications for the treatment of women's diseases were performed in the 1970s.
The main genital aesthetic procedures performed with lasers include laser vaginal rejuvenation, urinary incontinence treatments, laser genital lightening, wart treatments, laser labioplasty, and vaginal tightening.
Since the early 2010s, lasers have been used for vaginal tightening, SUI (Stress Urinary Incontinence) treatment, genital lightening, and genital rejuvenation. CO2 and Erbium YAG lasers are among the most commonly used lasers in these areas.
Carbon dioxide and Erbium YAG lasers are preferred for treating various dermatological problems and cosmetic applications.
CO2 and Erbium YAG lasers are preferred for various functional and aesthetic indications in the genital area and other parts of the body. They can be used in surgical applications such as soft tissue excision, tissue removal, incision, ablation (destruction), vaporization, and coagulation.
For this reason, CO2 and Erbium lasers are widely used in dermatology, plastic surgery, gynecology, ENT, as well as interventional and endoscopic general surgery.

Laser Vaginal Tightening
Laser vaginal tightening uses the thermal (heat-conducting) and ablative (destructive) effects of laser light to restore the lost tightness of the vagina. Laser vaginal tightening, also known as "Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation" (LVR), is a non-surgical procedure that does not require anesthesia.
Giving birth, hormonal changes, and aging increase collagen degradation. As a result, the vagina loses elasticity and begins to loosen, which can cause many problems for women.
The most common issues are reduced sexual pleasure and loss of sensation during intercourse. All these problems can be resolved with laser procedures.
